Awwww Sube I am so glad you posted.  I love your site.  I love the pic of you and sbevis (but dont tell him, we like to give him a hard time)..(us girls have to stick together, you know)... That quilt is so beautiful.  I am not crafty...

KyDave, I worked for a woman that was a quilter. I got to go see shows like you have there in the pictures. What those talented woman can do is amazing. Beatiful for sure.

Thanks, MaryB but my next quilt will not be fancy. I've already been collecting old blue jeans from my son and daughter-in-law and plan to use clothes they no longer wear as the other material in the quilt. Just for the fun of it.

Right now all i have is sacks full of jeans and old shirts; i can't start cutting pieces until i decide the design. I'll let you when that happens.

We saw a quilt in a shop that used blue jean material. The neat part on it was they had sown on the back pockets from the jeans intact and then placed a kerchief in one of them sort of hanging out.

started this afternoon, have got lots to do yet, blimey I getting the hang of this, but it taken lots of mistakes I keep getting two pictures, am I using the wrong URL, I use photobucket, which one do I use baffled mouse, lol

I agree with you all.  I know when I was young my mom made me an apron and that was so special to me...and still is.  Jillian will treasure that forever.  You are nothing if not a fun grandma!

Lori, is there still talk about making a Groupee quilt to hang on the wall? Last I heard Kenner might be the one to organize but all blocks were to be sent to you ????? Am I lost or ... confused

SuBe:  I'm not sure about the Groupee quilt.  I'm certainly willing to act as the repository for squares, if you or Kenner want to organize the quilt.  I haven't heard anything about it for a little while....
